Heart Month is celebrated throughout the month of February because it is a time when many of us reflect on matters of the heart, including love and relationships along with emphasizing the importance of heart health for women.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Delano Wardlaw, MD (Sister Twin Docs) Guest Speaker: Janet Williams, Board Member from The Daniel E. Rumph II Foundation.
Speakers will share critical information on heart-disease prevention, how to promote a Heart-Healthy lifestyle, and how to support those affected by cardiovascular conditions. The day's activities include chair yoga, line-dancing, chair massages, vendors, resource tables, door prizes, free flu vaccinations, screenings, and the opportunity to take the Live A Heart-Healthy Life Pledge.
